there’d have to be a *Clear* understanding that it was only with someone who didn’t want to keep him.

angel, you will get through this … you are so much stronger than you know, and you can fight these demons and come out stronger for it, if you’ll just remember that and not let them win.

that is often a problem between loving couples, because he likely feels the same about you and curtails his own happiness to help you achieve yours even as you do the same for him.
