Gone & done it (again)
I’ve registered my domain *FINALLY* and have moved my blog to it’s final resting place. 
However, I’m not done tweaking and playing (with the theme, not myself), so I haven’t “opened” it officially. But if you want a peek, let me know in comments 
I’m honored
A while ago, I was awarded the Rockin Girl Blogger award by a lovely blogger friend, Catherine. But for many reasons, including the fact that I sure as hell didn’t FEEL like a Rockin Girl Blogger, I haven’t made mention to it here, although I did thank her.
I really am honored when someone likes my blog enough to make mention of it in a good way and even more so if they want to bestow honors on it! I really enjoy blogging, even if it can’t always be on the subject matter that I’d originally hoped it would be. But this is, after all, my life that I’m blogging about, and no one is kinky ALL the time… well… at least not most of us LOL
So, then it took me a while to figure out who I would like to pass the award on to. I knew, of course, that my best friend angel would definitely qualify – she rocks in so many ways. (Even if she *IS* 10 yrs younger than me *hmph*)
Another “given” would be Peg, because she’s been here since day 1 too.
Melinda, personifies CoOl with her blog about everything BUT sex LOL
His Mija, a relative newcomer to my blog, has shown such compassion during my recent struggles. That totally rocks, to me.
and of course, finally, SkyWindows – she & I seem to have alot in common as well, even if she has way too much on her plate right now.
So there’s my choices for this award, which truly isn’t just another graphic to throw on my blog, but means something to me.

Monday Melee
The Monday Melee is a neat idea that I’ve decided to join in on, at least when I remember to LOL Check it out and join in
1. The Misanthtropic: Name something (about humanity) you absolutely hate.
The apparent capability to harm your own child. Yes, it’s awful when someone harms a child – any child. But the simple IDEA that someone could hurt the child that they CREATED – mistreating them, hurting them, killing them – drives me batty. I simply cannot fathom it.
2. The Meretricious: Expose something or someone that’s phony, fraudulent or bogus.
Supermodels. What exactly is so super about them?
3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with.
At the moment, I’m unhappy with myself for not having any self-control recently.
4. The Meritorious: Give someone credit for something and name it if you can.
My hubby, for getting up and going to work every day, in a field he doesn’t enjoy, even on the days he knows are gonna suck, and doing it simply because we need him to.
5. The Mirror: See something good about yourself and name it.
I’ll have to get back to you on this.
6. The Make-Believe: Name something you wish for.
The lottery would be nice, but I’ll shoot for the absolute knowledge that my children grow up & old.

So, a few blog-related things to tell you about.
First, I totally missed my 2nd year blogging anniversary last weekend, so happy anniversary to me. Yay.
and B – you see that thingie over there that says “Askimet” – I’ve had this blog up on wordpress’s site since August… and so since August, I’ve been spammed nearly 10 THOUSAND TIMES. Can you believe that there’s that many parasites out there?
Oh and a new fun little thing that wordpress has added – over there in the sidebar, you’ll see it – It says “click here for a random posting of mine. I thought that was neat.
Anways, that’s about all I got for ya today, but I’m working on something nice & sexxxxay for ya.
What’s in a name.
As I mentioned recently, there’s not a whole lotta kink going on here. There hasn’t been for quite some time for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is that Mr. Zachary is here. My outside kink interests (i.e. play parties, play friends) have all pretty much evaporated… the interest on my part just isn’t there. Maybe it’s the utter lack of sleep, and the motivation to drive somewhere to beat someone just does not seem to be in existence. My kinky friends have all reported this happening to them at one point or another, and I know for a fact that it happened to me after the birth of my daughter as well.
So with that being said, do you think I should rename my blog to something a little less lascivious, considering there ISN’T a lot of kinky content here anymore? Or does the lack of kink make me less kinky, because the name is a kinky WOMAN’S guide… i.e. not a woman’s kinky guide.

- I hope that Melinda got her heat back this weekend.
- Prince was awesome in the superbowl halftime show. He’s still hot after all these years. I actually stood in line at 5am to get tickets for his show 23 years ago.. and they sold out before I got any.
- I taught a one-on-one eBay class yesterday, despite the fact that it was 10 degrees out, and I’m , ya know, 99 months pregnant. But the lady was very appreciative, so that was nice. She even called to make sure I got home ok.
- My mom & dad are coming up for the baby’s birth
- My friend angel is sending me a paddle that’s even got my name on it. I can’t wait.
- Although it wasn’t a holiday, my mom turned 60 this weekend, and my parents also celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary. I can’t possibly fathom that!
- My 3 yr old has officially joined the ranks of the homeschooled.
- My kids keep coming up with names for the baby.
- While I haven’t been able to be particularly kinky for a while, I still have kinky thoughts, so I consider that to be my reason why I keep my blog named this
- Even though we’re expecting a very nice tax refund, I cannot think of more than 2 things that I want to buy when we get the money One of them is a freezer, the other – a *good* frying pan.
- A really awesome homeschooling site – IknowThat.com
- I quit smoking 16 years ago and according to quitnet.com, I’ve saved $60,000.
- I was really upset by this news story about this woman who was refused medical treatment while being arrested, and she miscarried her baby. Now, while she obviously was probably already losing the baby, having to go through that whole night KNOWING it was happening, would be awfully cruel.
- Some people try to guess my password for my password protected postings. I tell them that’s like trying to hack my blog.
- This other story about this couple who had sextuplets and then refused to allow them to have what could have been life-saving medical treatments that would have saved TWO of the babies – also pisses me off. You want them so bad, you do what you have to, religion or not, to SAVE THEM.
- While I can’t wait for my pregnancy to be finished and the baby to be here, I know I’ll miss being pregnant, at least a little bit.
- I have read every single (fiction) book by Koontz, Patterson, King, & Grafton.
- In hindsite, I wish I hadn’t fought so hard to avoid a c-section with my son, thus putting both our lives in danger.
- After almost 12 years, I can say without a doubt that our relationship is stronger than it’s ever been.
- And the sex ain’t bad either
And in case you’re wondering, I’ve just used every category I have on my blog LOL
Hmmm
Because of a comment on yesterday’s blog regarding my posting that, while suggestive and hopefully descriptive, didn’t mention anything SPECIFICALLY – could cause word press to bounce my blog out, I’m thinking I should find another blogging site to mirror to, just in case. I’d hate to lose the last 6 months of postings on here because of some ridiculousness. So do you have any suggestions on a blogging site that has the IMPORT feature? (and of course, is free?) Please leave your suggestions in my comments section. (PS – I don’t like blogger.com, as that’s where I started)
